In the first part of this two-part blog series, we talked about the importance of vision skills when it comes to sports. It’s not enough to be stronger and faster than your opponent. You need better vision skills if you want to be great. In this second part, your eye doctor will discuss new wearable technology that will help you with your training. Learn more about Vima® Rev Sport here:

What Is the Vima® Rev Sport?

The Vima Rev Sport is a piece of wearable technology that allows athletes to train their vision more effectively. Coaches can use the Vima Rev Sport to enhance vision and response through strobe training. The eyewear’s lenses work like strobe lights. They alternate between clear and obstructed fields of vision to improve a person’s ability to target an oncoming object. The Vima Rev Sport comes with a library of training drills and how-to’s to assist athletes and coaches in getting the most out of their vision training.

What Are Its Features?

As an expert in sports vision and binocular vision thearpy, we recommend this product because of its excellent features. It comes with impact-resistant lenses that have a unique taper and curvature for unmatched optical clarity. The lenses are also gray-tinted, minimizing glare and providing 100% protection from harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays. The Vima Rev Sport is also designed to ensure speed and accuracy of use, even if the athlete is wearing gloves. It also features mode sequencing to allow training of both eyes together, in alternation or each eye separately.

For comfort, the Rev also has an adjustable strap that allows it to stay in place during any athletic activity. It also has a flexible, aerated nose bridge. You also won’t have to worry about rain, sweat and other elements damaging the product’s electronics. Its components are sealed. Lastly, the eyewear’s 2-digit Vision Quotient LCD display has 11 strobe rates that coaches can tailor for specific training drills.
